Turkey will help Syria rebuild destroyed cities - Erdogan.

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stated that Turkey supports the territorial integrity and unity of Syria. He also expressed readiness to provide the necessary support in the fight against terrorism and in the reconstruction of destroyed cities and infrastructure.
'A new page has been opened not only in Syria but also in our entire region. The Syrian people now have the necessary will to determine their future. Just as Turkey did not leave our Syrian brothers alone in their most desperate and difficult days, we will provide them with the necessary support in this new period,' Erdogan said.
The President of Turkey emphasized that the state policy remains unchanged and is based on supporting the territorial integrity and unity of Syria. He also stressed the readiness to provide the necessary support for the reconstruction of the destroyed cities and infrastructure of Syria.
'We are ready to provide the necessary support to Syria in the fight against any forms of terrorism, be it ISIS or the PKK. We have confirmed that we are cooperating with Syria regarding the control of camps in northeastern Syria,' Erdogan noted.
The interim President of Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa, emphasized the historical ties between the two countries, the intention to develop them, and expressed gratitude for Turkey's support.
'We want to turn our relations into deep strategic cooperation. We must cooperate in humanitarian, economic, and cultural spheres. One of our joint strategies will relate to security... We will also resume trade with Turkey,' said Ahmed al-Sharaa.
