The government of Ukraine is actively planning to coordinate actions with the military and redistribute electronic warfare (EW) assets to frontline regions. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal after a government meeting in Kherson region.

'It is very important to protect the population from constant drone attacks. I have tasked the Ministry of Defense and regional military administrations to ensure coordination with the military and quickly redistribute EW assets to frontline regions. At the same Time, I emphasized the importance of evacuation routes safety,' he stressed.

According to Shmyhal, 68% of de-occupied territories have already been cleared, which is a positive signal, but a lot of work still needs to be done. It is worth noting that this process is expected to take up to 15 years.

Funding and Recovery

The Prime Minister also stated that almost 6.3 billion hryvnias will be allocated for the recovery of Kherson region by 2025. Reconstruction is planned in Posad-Pokrovske, for which over 2.2 billion hryvnias are allocated. The head of the government urged to continue active work and not to slow down the momentum in this direction.

The leadership of Ukraine plans to deploy electronic warfare assets in frontline regions to protect the population from drone attacks. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal also emphasized the importance of coordinating actions and ensuring the safety of evacuation routes. In addition, the government plans to allocate significant funds for the recovery of Kherson region by 2025.
