General Kellogg revealed Trump's new plan to end the war in Ukraine.

President Trump is ready to strengthen American sanctions against Russia to end the war in Ukraine. This was stated by retired General Keith Kellogg, as quoted by NYPost.
According to Kellogg, the effectiveness of current sanctions against Russia is only about three points on a scale of one to ten. He noted that sanctions aimed at oil extraction and export can be intensified. This will create broad opportunities for further actions.
President Trump has gathered his 'confirmed team' of advisors and cabinet members in the Oval Office. They are focused on national security issues. From Vice President Jay D. Vance to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
General Kellogg condemned the strategy of former President Biden, who promised to provide Ukraine with unlimited support. According to him, this is not a strategy, but just a slogan.
Kellogg emphasized that the war cannot end without negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
'In any negotiations, both sides must make concessions. This is just how negotiations go. It may not be satisfactory for everyone, but we're trying to find a balance,' he explained.
After meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky in Trump Tower in September, Trump spoke of the possibility of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. He emphasized that not only is it Time for a peace agreement, but an agreement can also be reached that will be beneficial for both parties.
Kellogg compared the situation to the Portsmouth Treaty of 1905, when Theodore Roosevelt convinced Russia and Japan to make mutual concessions to achieve peace.
Earlier, Trump's chances for Ukraine to regain nuclear weapons were assessed.
