According to information, today 390 Ukrainians returned from Russian captivity as part of the '1000 for 1000' exchange. This is already the sixth exchange this year and the 65th since the start of the war in Donbas. Among the released are civilians and military personnel from various units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.

The agreement on the release of Ukrainians from captivity was one of the key outcomes of the meeting in Turkey. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of returning all citizens from Russian captivity and called it one of the priorities of the state.
