«Today's exchange is the result of the work of the Unified Center for Coordination of Search and Release of Prisoners of War, the Coordination Staff for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, and other authorized structures that carried out the instructions of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. As noted by the head of our state, this agreement was reached at a meeting in Turkey, and it is important to fully implement it», - the report says.

The return of 390 Ukrainians

Let us remind you that today 390 Ukrainians were returned from Russian captivity. This is the first stage of the exchange '1000 for 1000'. It was reported that among those released from captivity are civilians, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the Naval Forces, Airborne Assault Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, as well as the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

According to the President, the agreement to release 1000 Ukrainians from Russian captivity became 'almost the only real result of the meeting in Turkey'. The head of state emphasized that one of Ukraine's key tasks is to return all our people from Russian captivity.
