Zelensky met with Syrsky: strengthening of air defense and two most challenging directions.


Meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. During the meeting, he heard reports on further strengthening the country's air defense system.
A decision was made to increase the number of mobile fire groups in regions that are the main targets for Russian terror. The implementation of previous decisions of the Staff regarding the training and equipping of such groups continues.
Reports on a comprehensive program to counter Russian cruise missiles were also presented. According to the meeting participants, there are promising technological solutions in this direction.
In addition, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported on the state of the Ukrainian missile program, including the development of own guided air bombs. The issue of three-year contracts for drone and other weapons manufacturers was also discussed.
In conclusion, the Staff made a decision to significantly strengthen the most challenging directions - Kurakhivsky and Pokrovsky. It is emphasized that in Kurshchyna, Ukrainian troops continue to restrain the nearly 50,000-strong enemy group.
