'No Compromises': ISW Reveals Putin's True Intentions in the War with Ukraine.

Russian Aggression Continues
The Russian Federation continues to escalate military actions against Ukraine, using new types of weaponry against the civilian population and warning the world of possible conflict escalation.
The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), having reviewed the demands of the Russian delegation during negotiations in Istanbul, believes that the Kremlin currently has no intention of ending military actions.
'Putin seeks not compromise, but the complete capitulation of Ukraine,' emphasize ISW experts. The territorial concessions demanded by Russia are viewed as a prerequisite for a temporary ceasefire rather than a path to peace.
Analysts again noted the Kremlin's double game on the international stage. Russia demonstrates diplomatic openness while not taking practical steps to improve the situation.
Putin's Intransigence
ISW emphasizes that Vladimir Putin will not be ready for any compromises as long as Ukraine and its Western partners fail to find a way to counter his strategy. Continued pressure on Kyiv and Washington from Putin is a deliberate tactic aimed at forcing the Ukrainian side to accept all Russian conditions, which effectively means capitulation.
Earlier, Reuters compared key 'peace initiatives' of the USA and Russia.
