Russian troops attacked Kyiv with a missile strike
On February 12 in the morning, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the capital of Ukraine. The consequences of the attack are being mitigated in the Obolon, Svyatoshyn, and Holosiiv districts.
According to the State Emergency Service (SES), the effects of the attack on Kyiv are as follows:
In the Obolon district: as a result of the missile strike, there was destruction in two office buildings, one of which was a fire station. The fire was extinguished, but unfortunately, one person died, and another was injured.
In the Svyatoshyn district: a fire broke out on the roof of a high-rise building. The fire has been extinguished.
In the Holosiiv district: a fire broke out in a warehouse building. The firefighting efforts are ongoing.
In total, over 80 rescuers and 17 units of firefighting equipment are currently working at the scenes.
