Ukrainian drivers in Poland risk losing their licenses due to one detail in their driver's license.
The Polish authorities have strengthened control over the eye correction requirement among drivers, including Ukrainians. This was reported by the channel 'Revocation'.
Driving without glasses or contact lenses, if their use is specified in the driver's license, poses a fine of 1,500 zlotys (approximately 16,000 hryvnias) for violators.
This issue has gained particular attention due to the significant influx of Ukrainian drivers who are often unaware of this requirement of Polish legislation.
In Poland, this information about vision problems is mandatory in the driver's license, unlike in Ukraine, where it is checked only during medical examinations.
'In some cases, violators even risk losing their licenses,' Polish law enforcement warns. This threat applies to both local drivers and foreigners driving in Poland.
