Russian troops shell civil infrastructure in Ukraine
Russian troops continue to systematically shell civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, increasingly targeting emergency medical services. Ambulance stations, base points, administrative buildings, medical transport, and most importantly, the medics themselves are coming under fire, who despite everything continue their work. This was reported by the Ministry of Health, as cited by 'Glavkom'.
Medical personnel in conflict zone under fire
The team of the state institution 'UNPC EMD and MK of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine' conducted a monitoring of losses in the emergency medical services and disaster medicine system for June and early July 2025. Their data indicates that six medics were injured, two of them due to a drone attack on the team. Additionally, 24 ambulances were damaged, two of which were completely destroyed.
