Zelensky addressed partners after the night attack by the Russian Federation on Ukraine.


Last week, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that Russia had launched more than a thousand drones, 39 rockets, and nearly a thousand KABs at Ukraine.
«Rescue operations have been ongoing in Donetsk and Dnipro regions since the night. In Kharkiv, the rubble is being cleared after the strike on residential high-rises. Twenty-seven people have been injured, including three children. The youngest, a girl, is only three years old. Three people have been hospitalized. Unfortunately, one person died in Odesa. My condolences to the relatives and friends,» – the president noted.
Russian drone and rocket strikes on Ukraine
Zelensky stated that Russian troops attacked Ukraine using 101 drones, most of which are Russian-Iranian «Shahed». Many regions were affected by drone and rocket strikes. Approximately 1,270 drones, 39 rockets, and nearly a thousand KABs were used in the attacks.
«We are counting heavily on our partners to fulfill everything we have agreed upon. Air defense is crucial for the protection of lives. We are also quite dynamically implementing agreements on investments in our own weapons production, including all types of drones. Special attention is given to interceptor drones. We are contracting as much as possible. I thank all partners who are helping,» – emphasized the head of state.
Attacks on Kyiv and other cities
Russian unmanned aerial vehicles attacked Kyiv, causing destruction in several districts of the capital. The highest damage was reported in the Desnyansky, Solomyansky, and Holosiivskyi districts. Also, during the night, Russia struck Odesa, where one person died. In Kharkiv, hits by enemy drones on high-rises were also recorded, resulting in injuries.
Ukraine reported mass attacks by Russia using drones and rockets, leading to numerous casualties and destruction in various cities across the country.
