Russian soldier Sergey Tuzhilov has been accused of war crimes for shooting Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Kharkiv region in 2024. He is currently in the custody of Ukrainian forces, where he has been charged.
The Security Service of Ukraine accused the occupying soldier Sergey Tuzhilov of committing war crimes against Ukrainian citizens; he feels guilty for what he has done.
Tuzhilov acknowledged his participation in shooting in the direction of Ukrainian servicemen who found themselves in captivity of Russian forces. He also participated in the execution of three prisoners, one of whom he personally killed. In addition, he took part in other war crimes on the territory of the enterprise.
Emphasizing the seriousness of the accusations, it is important that the perpetrator is held accountable for his crimes and receives his rightful punishment.
