Former Austrian Foreign Minister who danced with Putin gets new position in Russia.

Karin Kneissl, the former Austrian Foreign Minister, has been appointed as the "ambassador of activities for the preservation of the rare Amur tiger in Russia." The general director of the Russian center "Amur Tiger" Sergey Aramiliev revealed this in an interview with the agency "RIA Novosti".
In August 2023, Kneissl moved to Russia and became the head of an analytical center at St. Petersburg University. Now, she is the "ambassador of activities for the preservation of the rare Amur tiger in Russia."
"She fully supports activities for the protection of this animal in Russia. For her, this is very important, and she actively promotes our organization," said Aramiliev.
The "Amur Tiger" center turns to Kneissl for advice on international relations.
Karin Kneissl previously admitted that she wished to take care of an Amur tiger, but it is not known if she succeeded.
It is worth noting that Kneissl was the Austrian Foreign Minister from 2017 to 2019. She got this position as a representative of the far-right Austrian Freedom Party. In 2018, Kneissl attracted media attention when she danced with Russian President Vladimir Putin at her wedding. She was also a board member of "Rosneft" until 2022, when she resigned due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Karin Kneissl expressed her opinion about Putin, calling him "the smartest gentleman." "He is the smartest gentleman who meets the standards of a gentleman," she said.
