Up to 15% more: expert names products that will rise sharply in price in winter.

Experts predict a significant increase in food prices by the end of winter. Deputy Head of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council Denys Marchuk reported an expected rise in the cost of meat, milk, and vegetables by 10-15%.
According to Marchuk in the broadcast of Den.LIVE, this year's situation with food has become significantly more complicated due to adverse weather conditions.
'In some places, losses in southern regions at the peak of crop ripening reached 30%. This is quite a large volume,' noted the expert.
Among the main reasons for price increases are the hot summer, which led to the loss of a significant amount of vegetables that were supposed to be stored for later sale. The situation is complicated by the temporary occupation of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, which limits the opportunities for diversifying product supply.
An additional factor in price increases is inflation, which exceeds the expected 9% and currently stands at over 11%. The expert also noted that the price of imported fruits is influenced by the exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar.
