The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Monday, September 9, 2024.
Russia's losses in the war as of September 9, 2024
RF in the war with Ukraine as of September 9 lost:
- personnel – about 626,410 (+1,150) people,
- tanks – 8,639 (+3) units,
- combat armored vehicles – 16,906 (+9) units,
- artillery systems – 17,830 (+26) units,
- MLRS – 1,180 (+0) units,
- air defense systems – 942 (+0) units,
- aircraft – 368 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 328 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs – 14,897 (+33),
- cruise missiles – 2,588 (+0),
- ships/boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel tankers – 24,262 (+44) units,
- special equipment – 3,049 (+2)
Occupants' fleet activity as of September 9
- In the Black Sea, one enemy ship which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles;
- In the Azov Sea, enemy ships are absent;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, one enemy ship which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
During the day, for the interests of the RF, the Kerch Strait passage was made by:
- to the Black Sea – seven vessels, four of which continued their movement towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Azov Sea – five vessels, one of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
Today marks the 929th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
