The enemy is intensifying assaults on the Defense Forces' positions in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi areas.

The situation in Kharkiv region remains tense
Active assault actions by the enemy continue in the Kharkiv region, especially in the northern part. According to Pavlo Shamshin, spokesman for the operational-tactical grouping 'Kharkiv', Ukrainian defenders are repelling attacks by Russian forces in the areas of Vovchansk huts, Hlyboke, Fiholivka, and Krasne Pershe.
“The enemy is trying to win the battle in northern Kharkiv — in Vovchansk and Lyptsi. There is a continuous assault on the positions of the Ukrainian military,” Shamshin stressed.
Tactics of Russian troops
Russian troops are using small infantry groups of 3 to 10 people, operating under the cover of drones. The situation is particularly tense near Dvorichna, where the occupiers are trying to strengthen their position on the western bank of the Oskil River. According to Shamshin, the change in tactics is due to the lack of armored vehicles in the Russian military.
“The Russians continue to assault reinforcements with small infantry groups. It is important to understand that they chose this tactic not out of convenience. They are experiencing a shortage of armored vehicles, which they lost in previous years during combat operations,” he explained.
Despite the pressure, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold a firm defense and demonstrate strength in their positions, protecting Kharkiv from enemy attacks.
Ukrainian forces are actively opposing enemy troops in the Kharkiv region, who are trying to expand their influence in this territory. The situation remains tense, but Ukrainian defenders continue to defend their land with great strength and dedication.
Summary: Active battles are ongoing in the Kharkiv region between Ukrainian forces and Russian occupation troops. Ukrainian defenders are stubbornly holding their position, protecting the region from enemy attacks, preventing the enemy from breaking through in northern Kharkiv. Russian troops, despite strategic actions, are facing difficulties due to a lack of armored vehicles, thus complicating the situation for themselves on the battlefield.Read also
