Igor Pelykh's son, Ivan Pelykh, shared his impressions from his visit to Kursk and its residents. He noted that after crossing the border into Ukraine, he did not notice significant differences in the landscape. Regarding the local residents, Ivan mentioned that he mostly encountered elderly women who did not bother them, but rather asked if they needed help. Ukrainian soldiers communicated with the locals in Ukrainian, but when they realized that conversation was impossible, they switched to Russian.
Destruction of the Sudzhan District in Kursk
Despite the shelling, Ukrainian soldiers are helping civilian residents of the Kursk region, who pray for them. The residents of Kursk live in basements, while the Russians take pride in their combat actions. However, Russia does not need these people, as a decision has not yet been made regarding their acceptance into the territory of the Russian Federation.
