How to quickly fix car dashboard errors in 30 seconds without special equipment
Drivers often face the problem when indicators light up on the car dashboard. However, there is a way to solve this issue quickly and without significant costs.
Usually, to delete errors from the onboard computer, you need to go to a service station. But there is a simple method that helps to reset errors without using special equipment. First, turn off all electrical systems - headlights, air conditioning, and audio system. Then turn the key in the ignition lock to the position where the indicators on the dashboard light up, but the engine does not start. Hold the key in this position for 20 seconds so that the system performs a complete scan of the sensors. After that, return the key to the initial position without removing it, and repeat the procedure. Finally, remove and reinsert the key. Now you can start the engine. The dashboard errors will disappear within a few seconds.
This method works on most cars from the early 2000s and has been confirmed by owners of various brands, including Audi, Skoda, Chevrolet, and Volvo.
It is important to know that this method is effective if the cause of the malfunction has already been corrected or if a software failure has occurred in the system.
Don't forget that the indicators on the dashboard help detect malfunctions that may attract police attention. Also, keep in mind that an updated list of faults may prohibit the use of the car in case of certain issues.
