Departure Abroad: Border Guards Will Check Ukrainians' Documents in a New Way.

Ukrainian border guards will be able to automatically check data on citizens planning to leave the country. Changes in border crossing rules will provide the State Border Guard Service with access to various databases and registries.
Authorized officials of the Border Guard Service will receive information from information systems and registries for free, administered by state or local authorities. The process of using such information will be done in compliance with personal data protection legislation.
Unfortunately, there are currently cases in Ukraine where citizens commit fraudulent actions at the border, entering into fake marriages to travel abroad. Such schemes are usually discovered during document checks by border guards.
