Immediately by 20 hryvnias: the prices for summer berries in Ukraine have drastically changed.

Prices for raspberries in Ukraine have sharply fallen, according to analysts of the EastFruit project. According to experts, entrepreneurs trading in frozen raspberries are rapidly reducing prices due to an increase in the supply of remontant varieties of this berry.
Last year, resellers sold a kilogram of raspberries to producers for 50-60 hryvnias, but now the maximum price is about 40 hryvnias per kilogram.
"Some of them propose to boycott the resellers and sell raspberries directly to enterprises. There are also calls to block all access roads to the berry freezing enterprises so that resellers cannot supply raspberries and negotiate prices directly with enterprises," the message says.
Analysts believe that raspberry prices in the Ukrainian market will quickly stabilize, but additional declines are possible. The economist predicts that freezing raspberries will be a profitable business for entrepreneurs, as their profits from selling finished products significantly exceed the costs of raw materials.
Currently, raspberries have not yet reached the price records of 2021, but they are already ahead of other alternative raw materials for the food industry. It is predicted that demand for raspberries may begin to decline starting in early 2025. Entrepreneurs should take this factor into account when planning their sales.
