Selective mobilization of artists is unjust, says MP Fedyna

People's Deputy Sofia Fedyna expressed her concern about the unequal conditions for participation in mobilization for representatives of creative professions. Some artists are forced to spend a long Time on the front, having no opportunity to participate in events, while others constantly stay abroad or are on tour.

What problem arises from this inequality

Fedyna believes that such injustice towards mobilized artists breeds distrust among the military. Some artists are forced to remain at the front for extended periods, unable to participate in cultural events. At the same time, other mobilized artists constantly stay abroad or in the rear, actively performing at concerts.

I know unique instrumentalists who find it difficult to leave even for one concert. Meanwhile, others who are mobilized are often on tour — this is unfair to their comrades.

Sofia Fedyna also highlighted the widespread evasion of duties by individuals who falsely claim to be involved in creative professions, including 'circus performers' associated with the arts. She also criticized officials who facilitated the illegal departure of these individuals abroad.

Materials were also published regarding the possibility of mobilizing citizens aged up to 25 years and potential fines for violators of mobilization rules.
