Ukrenergo reported on the lifting of restrictions on power outages
The national energy company "Ukrenergo" reported that on August 2, 2024, power outages will not be applied. This is stated in the official message of the company on August 1.
"Tomorrow, August 2, outages will not be applied. If the situation changes, measures of restriction will be additionally reported," noted Ukrenergo.
The company also addressed consumers with a request to use powerful electrical appliances from 11:00 to 15:00.
Stabilization of electricity consumption
Earlier, Ukrenergo reported on the stabilization of electricity consumption. According to the company, the daily maximum consumption on July 31 remained at the level of the previous day, July 30. As of 9:30 a.m. on August 1, consumption also matched the previous morning's figures.
Despite the stabilization, the energy system is still recovering from eight massive attacks. Emergency and planned repairs are ongoing at energy facilities. Ukrenergo recommends shifting the use of powerful electrical appliances to daytime hours – from 11:00 to 15:00, when there is the most electricity in the system thanks to the active work of solar power plants.
Absence of electricity exports and power outages in settlements
The company also reported that electricity export is not happening and is not planned.
Due to military actions and other reasons, 496 settlements are completely or partially without power. In particular, there are outages in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions. For technical reasons, outages occurred in Kirovohrad and Chernihiv regions.
