Ukrainian companies invite directors of artificial intelligence

According to Forbes, leading Ukrainian companies, including Prostor, 'Nova Poshta', and MHP, have announced a recruitment for a new position – director of artificial intelligence. The demand for such specialists has increased due to the active implementation of AI technologies in business processes.

Companies need experts who can integrate artificial intelligence tools into their operational activities – from optimizing logistics chains to automating customer service. Currently, vacancies are already open at 'Nova Poshta' and Prostor, while MHP plans to start its search in 2024.

As noted by Taíssia Mliuzan, managing partner of the recruitment company Talando, the position of director of artificial intelligence is new for Ukraine. The salary for specialists can start from $6,000.

Key responsibilities of the specialist

• AI implementation strategy: development and implementation of plans for integrating technologies into the company's operations.
• Monitoring ethical standards: ensuring compliance with standards for using artificial intelligence.
• Interdepartmental interaction: coordination with other departments for effective use of innovations.
• Training personnel: preparing employees to work with new tools.

Experts note that for full-scale work with artificial intelligence, companies need a team of at least three specialists, with an annual budget starting from 100,000 euros. In recent years, the number of vacancies in this field has been rapidly increasing, confirming the importance of AI for sectors such as medicine and finance.
