Ukraine to receive 500 million euros for drones from the Netherlands
The Ministry for Strategic Industries reported that the Netherlands is providing 500 million euros to Ukraine for the purchase of drones, including Ukrainian ones.
According to the ministry, the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetanin, held a meeting with the Dutch Minister of Defense, Ruben Braakman, at one of the Ukrainian defense enterprises.
'It was important to announce that we are providing Ukraine with 2 billion euros in accelerated support, including a drone project worth 500 million euros. These drones are changing the situation on the battlefield and literally saving lives,' said Braakman.
Herman Smetanin expressed his gratitude to the Netherlands for their steadfast position and stable support for Ukraine.
'I am grateful to the government of the Netherlands for allocating 500 million euros for drones for the Ukrainian military. This funding will also be allocated for the domestic production of resources,' said Herman Smetanin.
