Explosions occurred in the Krasnodar region of Russia on the night of February 5. Drones were used to attack the oil refinery.
The Governor of Krasnodar region reported that debris from drones fell on a tank with minor residues of oil products in the village of Novominskaya in the Kanivsky district.
As a result of the explosion, a fire broke out on the factory premises. Emergency services are working at the scene, and there is currently no information about injuries.
Local authorities reported that 55 rescuers and one piece of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire and stabilizing the situation.
It is noted that the drones allegedly attacked the oil depot of 'Albashneft', which is the only oil refining company in the Kanivsky district of Krasnodar region.
Earlier, there were reports of drone attacks on the Astrakhan gas processing plant (AGPP). UAVs hit one of the main installations of the plant in Astrakhan.
It was also noted that explosions occurred in Volgograd on the night of February 3. Drones were used to attack the oil refinery of 'Lukoil', which supplied gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel to the Russian army.
It is worth reminding that as a result of a drone attack on the oil refinery in the city of Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, a fire also broke out.
