Donald Trump ratified the agreement on minerals with Ukraine
U.S. President Donald Trump announced the completion of the ratification of the agreement with Ukraine regarding minerals and announced a future phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He mentioned this during a meeting in the Oval Office of the White House.
'We just completed the agreement on minerals with Ukraine. It has been fully ratified and approved by their legislative bodies. And we appreciate that,' Trump stated.
He also added that now the United States will have access to 'a huge amount of very high-quality rare earth elements' and plans to discuss this with the President of Ukraine later.
The agreement with Great Britain
Donald Trump also announced the signing of the first trade agreement with Great Britain after the introduction of new tariffs on imports to the U.S. He noted that the agreement is significant for both countries and involves substantial growth in export opportunities and the creation of a trade area for aluminum and steel.
'Many other agreements are at an advanced stage of negotiations and will be concluded later,' Trump emphasized during the ceremonies.
Such agreements with Ukraine and Great Britain indicate the active work of the U.S. President on concluding international agreements that are important for the country's economy and foreign policy. This demonstrates his desire to strengthen and expand trade and political relations with other countries.
