This has never happened before: apple prices in Ukraine have skyrocketed, and grapes have also become more expensive.


Prices for apples and grapes have risen for Ukrainians. Now, apples will cost more than 50 hryvnias per kilogram, and the price of grapes has also increased. This was reported by the Minfin portal.
Prices for apples are constantly rising, but this does not prevent Ukrainians from continuing to love them. Despite the increase in cost, this fruit remains popular, especially against the backdrop of the fact that the harvest is not currently being gathered. Many people are dissatisfied that apples have become more expensive, but this does not stop them from buying them.
According to data, the average price for Ukrainian apples is 49.36 hryvnias per kilogram, which is 13.8% higher than in March 2025. The highest prices for apples are observed in the Metro chain - 53.98 hryvnias, while the lowest are in Novus - 46.99 hryvnias per kilogram.
Prices for Aydared apples have also increased and now amount to 51.30 hryvnias per kilogram. This is 9.5% more than in March.
The cost of grapes has also skyrocketed. The average price for grapes is 254.45 hryvnias per kilogram, which is 2% more than in March. Grapes can be purchased for 259 hryvnias in Novus and somewhat cheaper - for 249.90 hryvnias in Megamarket.
Auchan, Metro, and Varus have published new prices for lard and chicken.
In recent years, prices for apples in Ukraine have risen significantly. Now, the favorite fruit costs over 50 hryvnias per kilogram, leading to increased expenses for the product. The price of grapes has also risen. This negatively impacts consumers' family budgets. The average price for Ukrainian apples is 49.36 hryvnias per kilogram, and for grapes - 254.45 hryvnias per kilogram.
