Syrskyi: occupiers have significantly increased pressure in three directions.

The situation is currently most complicated on the Pokrovskyi and Kurakhivskyi fronts. Russian occupiers have also significantly increased pressure in the Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Vremivka directions.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

«For the third day, the enemy has been conducting intensive offensive actions in the territory of the Kursk region with the aim of pushing the Defense Forces of Ukraine out of the territory of the Russian Federation. They are actively using units of the North Korean army. North Korean mercenaries have already suffered significant losses,» – said the commander.

Moreover, addressing the representatives of the local authorities, Syrskyi emphasized the «extraordinarily significant» importance of engineering and fortification structures (IFS).

«The construction of the IFS was divided into three stages. Work is currently underway on the final stage. Within this framework, the Armed Forces have already completed the tasks assigned, and the State Special Transport Service (DSST, – «Hlavkom») needs to accelerate the work,» – said the general.

According to him, 21 regional military administrations and contracting organizations are involved in the tasks of building military engineering and fortification structures.

«Seven regions must strengthen work in the direction of fortifications,» – noted Syrskyi, stressing the need for regional military administrations to actively build fortifications, especially to echelon them deeper.

It should be noted that after significant losses in the Kursk region, North Korean units are trying to counteract the drones of the Defense Forces, which effectively hunt them.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces recently regained lost positions in the Pokrovskyi direction.

Also today, it was reported that the enemy occupied Hanniivka in the Donetsk region. In addition, the occupiers also advanced near Kruhlynske, Dalhne, Uspenivka, Pishchane, Storozheve, Trudove, in Kurakhove, Shevchenko, and Kostiantynopol.
