Sikorski: Europe must help Ukraine before negotiations with the Russian Federation.

Europe could fall victim to pressure from Moscow
The Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski warned of the possible strong pressure that Moscow could exert on Europe. He believes that Europe should not agree to a deal that would allow Russia to regain its strength and lead to the subjugation of Ukraine. Sikorski asserts that Ukraine needs a just peace, not subjugation to Russia.
The minister emphasized that Europe must be smarter and stronger than it is perceived by Russian leaders. He urged Europeans to do everything possible to improve Ukraine's position in the upcoming negotiations, without imposing strict restrictions on support for the country.
Sikorski also noted that Europe is losing its momentum and competitive advantage, and called for an increase in Europe's strategic responsibility and its defense capability. He called for harmony with Washington and for achieving understanding and compromises from both sides of the Atlantic.
