Russian clubs received over 2.7 million euros from UEFA for the participation of players in national tournaments.


UEFA paid Russian clubs over 2.7 million euros as compensation for the involvement of their footballers in national tournaments. The total amount paid to the clubs reached 233 million euros. Among the clubs of the aggressor country, 'Spartak' received the largest sum.

According to information, the defense forces eliminated another Russian footballer - Oleksandr Slepnyov, who participated in amateur tournaments. He played as a goalkeeper and represented several teams, including 'Fakel' and 'Dynamo'.
The defense forces also eliminated footballer Oleksiy Yablonsky, who played for FC 'PFS' and was called up to the Ukrainian youth futsal team.
Both killed footballers left behind families. Oleksandr Slepnyov left a wife and two children, while Oleksiy Yablonsky was left without work and with a career that promised a lot.
