Russia engages former female prisoners in assaults on the front line.

The occupying Russian forces have begun to involve former female prisoners in assaults on the positions of the Ukrainian military in eastern Ukraine. This was reported by the spokesperson of the operational-strategic grouping of troops 'Khortytsia', Nazar Voloshyn.
He also noted that there are almost no prisons left in the territory of the Russian Federation due to the mobilization of convicts for participation in the war against Ukraine.
In addition, the Russian military command is relocating part of its strategic reserves from other directions for offensive actions in the Pokrovsk, Kurakhiv, and Vremiv directions.
Gathering forces for a counteroffensive
The Russian troops are preparing for a future counteroffensive and the ousting of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their territory, reports the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). The size of the Russian military grouping in the Kursk region is not dramatic, as analysts claim.
Unexpected assault methods
Despite the prolonged war, the occupiers continue to use unusual assault methods. This was stated by the commander of the mortar crew from the 6th battalion of 'Azov', Ilya Sverbius. He stated that the Russians often break through to the positions on mopeds and sometimes use other atypical means of transport.
According to Russian media, about 300 thousand reservists have undergone training in the Russian Federation and are ready for war with Ukraine. Special training companies have been created in the reserve units to prepare for combat operations. This was reported by 'Novaya Gazeta'.
