Wounded soldier of 'Azov' received blood for transfusion via drones on the front line.


A blood supply for transfusion was delivered to the 'Azov' combat unit using drones. This operation was reported by the brigade's press service.
A soldier of the 'Azov' brigade suffered a severe neck injury, resulting in significant blood loss. Medics decided to deliver blood to the wounded using drones as evacuation was impossible. Drones delivered all necessary supplies directly to the trench at the front line.
The blood transfusion was performed by a combat medic along with an infantryman who was also injured.
The blood transfusion helped the serviceman survive. He was then evacuated, and medics stabilized his condition.
Currently, combat medics and military personnel without medical education are allowed to perform blood transfusions after undergoing training in transfusion therapy.
Ukrainian soldiers from the 'Azov' brigade were also in Russian captivity, where they spoke about the brutal treatment of Ukrainian prisoners, including torture and physical violence.
