Legendary American Boxer Passes Away.


American boxer George Foreman has passed away at the age of 76. This was reported by the athlete's relatives on social media, writes the New York Post.
George Foreman was born on January 10, 1949, in Texas. In 1968, he became an Olympic champion, winning a gold medal at the Olympic Games.
Throughout his career, Foreman became the world heavyweight champion in 1973-1974 and 1994-1995. He also set the record as the oldest champion in boxing history, winning at the age of 45. Foreman actively competed in boxing from 1987 to 1997.
He achieved 76 victories, including 68 knockouts, and five losses. Foreman faced many famous boxers, and his match with Muhammad Ali became one of the most iconic in the history of the sport.
After his sports career, Foreman worked as a commentator for boxing competitions, served as a pastor, and was a businessman. His most famous product became the George Foreman Grill, which became a true commercial success.
In 2023, the film 'Big George Foreman' was released, telling the story of the boxer's life and his return to the ring after a spiritual rebirth.
