The educational platform 'New Knowledge' (NZ.UA), which is part of the 'COURSE: Education' project, has introduced a new extended electronic document management system for schools. It also offers opportunities for distance learning.

This system provides free access to electronic class journals and diaries for all participants in the educational process - from school leaders to parents. Teachers are provided with tools for creating lessons, grading, and analyzing performance. Students and their parents can gain 24/7 access to grades, homework, and schedules.

Particular attention was paid by the developers to information security - the platform has a positive conclusion from the State Special Communications regarding the comprehensive information protection system (CIPS), the validity of which has been extended until the end of the war.

To start using the system, it is sufficient to find your school on the portal map or by the institution's number. The curator of the general education school must generate usernames and passwords for teachers through the administrative panel. Then, class leaders can independently create accounts for students and their parents.

The platform offers flexible mechanisms for analyzing and graphically displaying academic achievements at the student, class, and school levels. There is also the possibility to assign, complete, and check assignments online.

Detailed instructions and video tutorials are available to users. Technical support is provided via email and a free hotline. There is also a Telegram bot for operational consultations.

It is important to note that old usernames and passwords previously used on the old version of the 'My Knowledge' portal can be used to log into the updated system.

Reform of specialized secondary education

The Ministry of Education is starting the reform of specialized secondary education. The new model implies an individual approach and the ability for students to choose subjects of study based on their own interests.

A new assessment system is being introduced for students in grades 5-9, which will evaluate not only academic knowledge but also skills such as critical thinking and initiative.

According to the ministry, approximately 1 million children are currently studying remotely, of which 400 thousand are abroad. The ministry is working on creating conditions for quality and effective distance education where it is not possible to organize in-person learning.
