Netherlands to Return Ukrainian Men of Conscription Age.


Ukrainian men of conscription age who stayed abroad were promised incentives to return home. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schof. He noted that he proposes incentives, not forceful methods, to attract people to return.
He provided this information during a discussion of migration policy in parliament, answering a question from the leader of the Party for Freedom, Geert Wilders. The timing of the return of Ukrainians was not specifically mentioned, only the need to develop a return mechanism was discussed.
According to De Volkskrant, as of last year, about 19 thousand Ukrainian men of conscription age resided in the Netherlands. In total, more than 39 thousand people from Ukraine were registered, including 63 thousand women who are also in the country.
