In Odesa region, a child painted graves in a cemetery with lipstick to have fun.


A schoolgirl in the city of Ananiv, Odesa region, painted tombstones in the cemetery. As a result, the girl's mother will be held responsible. This was reported by the Odesa police.
The police received a report that an unknown substance had been painted on five tombstones in the cemetery. Relatives of the deceased noticed that the burial sites of their loved ones had been damaged.
'The investigative team of the territorial police unit established that the monuments were painted with lipstick by a local 12-year-old schoolgirl, who was having fun in this way,' the statement said.
Since the girl is still a minor, her mother is responsible for her actions, the police reported.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the mother under part 4 of article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses - failure by parents or persons replacing them to fulfill their obligations to raise children. The woman faces a fine of 5100 hryvnias.
'The child was warned about the inadmissibility of such antics, and the mother was reminded of her duty to raise her daughter and monitor where, with whom, and how she spends her free Time,' said the police official.
As a reminder, at the 'Sabariv-1' cemetery in Vinnytsia, unknown persons repeatedly stole items from a military grave. This was reported by the Vinnytsia police.
According to law enforcement, the mother of the deceased soldier contacted the police reporting that a wooden mace and three valuable candles had been stolen from her son's grave.
Regarding a woman who committed robbery at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv in October, she was forcibly taken to a psychiatric hospital where a chronic mental illness was discovered.
In October of this year, the woman damaged the graves of 39 soldiers at the Lychakiv Cemetery. She broke flower vases, lanterns, overturned wreaths, and portraits of the deceased.
