A tragedy occurred at the festival in Thailand - an explosion led to the death of three people and injuries to dozens more. The incident took place at the Red Cross Doi Loyfa fair in the northern province of Tak. A homemade bomb exploded near the stage where people were dancing.
According to police, 48 people were injured, with six in critical condition. Two suspects have been detained, but no charges have been filed against them yet.
The Prime Minister of Thailand ordered an investigation into the causes of the explosion and to provide assistance to the victims. She also called for an increase in the police contingent to oversee all festival events.

Also, in Pakistan, at least 25 people were killed as a result of an explosion at a train station, including 14 servicemen. The bomb exploded at the station in the city of Quetta while people were waiting for a train.
