Air raid alert announced in Ukraine due to the threat of a UAV attack
An air raid alert has been announced in Kyiv and some regions of Ukraine due to the threat of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks. This became known from monitoring public accounts. However, at 9:17 the alert was canceled.
The Air Forces reported the takeoff of Russian strategic bombers Tu-95MS from the Olenya airfield and the launch of missiles. By eight o'clock, the air raid alert spread across the entire territory of Ukraine. There were also reports of missile movements in the western part of the country by air defense forces.
Russia carried out a massive shelling of Ukraine using Kalibrs and X-101 missiles launched from Tu-95 aircraft. The targets of the attack were energy facilities and infrastructure. As a result, electricity has already been turned off.
