Eliminated officers, Russian general and hundreds of DPRK soldiers: consequences of the Storm Shadow strike in the Kursk region.

The missile strike was carried out on an underground facility in Maryino, Kursk region of the Russian Federation. As a result of the attack, 18 officers of the Russian troops were killed, including Lieutenant General Valeriy Solodchuk, the first deputy commander of the Leningrad military district. Another 33 military personnel were injured. There were also casualties among three North Korean military representatives, including two officers and one woman, who later turned out to be working as a translator. Among the casualties were also officers from the Southern and Eastern military districts of the Russian Federation. During the demining of the area after the strike, 13 Russian sappers were injured, including the deputy chief of staff of the 88th mechanized brigade.
