Ukraine will receive a new batch of drones from Latvia, announced Defense Minister Andris Spruds. According to him, this batch consists of more than 1000 combat drones of various types. Spruds emphasized that together with Latvian drone manufacturers, they continue to support Ukraine. This was announced by Spruds on the social network X.
The minister also noted that the coalition of drones is led by Latvia and the United Kingdom. According to him, Latvia plans to allocate 20 million euros for the purchase of drones within this coalition in 2025.
