Countries of 'Ramstein' agreed on new contracts and accelerated the supply of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhiy Boiev participated in a meeting of national directors of armaments.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the event took place at NATO headquarters in Brussels and gathered representatives from more than 40 countries who also take part in the meetings of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense issues.
Serhiy Boiev presented Ukrainian companies to partners and expressed the need for funding. He emphasized that air defense, ammunition, and drones remain a priority for mass production.
The deputy minister stressed that the development of defense production has become one of the key tasks for Ukraine. He noted that the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry have increased 35 times during the war and continue to grow. To fully utilize these capabilities, investments from partners are needed.

Serhiy Boiev proposed creating joint enterprises for the production of key components such as rocket engines, UAV components, and other parts. He also thanked the countries for assistance packages totaling 21 billion US dollars.
At the meeting, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Germany, as leaders of the Contact Group, agreed on the rapid implementation of commitments to Ukraine regarding the protection of sovereignty and civilians. They agreed on the conclusion of contracts and rapid delivery of assistance.
