Conservation instead of repair. 'Okhmatdyt' explained where another 6.3 million UAH of donations will go.

The government has decided to allocate 6.3 million UAH for the preservation of the historical buildings of the children's hospital 'Okhmatdyt' that were damaged by a missile strike. These funds will be used to protect the toxicological building No. 3 and to repair the administrative building. The distribution of financing is carried out under a special budget program aimed at preserving the historical buildings of the hospital associated with prominent Ukrainian doctors. It is estimated that the restoration of the buildings will take five years. The damage occurred on July 8, 2024, due to a missile strike by the Russian Federation.
Also, one billion hryvnias have been donated to assist the hospital after the missile strike.
The largest amount is held in the account of the charitable fund 'Okhmatdyt - Healthy Childhood'. The repair of the new treatment and diagnostic building will be carried out after the contractor is determined.
