Clients of Oschadbank in Occupation Lost Access to Accounts - Details.

Clients of the state financial institution 'Oschadbank' who are in temporarily occupied territories have lost access to their accounts due to the expiration of card validity from July 2025, the bank reports on social media Facebook.
Citizens in the occupied territories are facing problems accessing their accounts. The bank canceled the cards of clients whose validity expired before 2022, even after passing remote identity verification. Obtaining a new card has become a complicated task, as some clients find it difficult to reach a bank branch in Ukrainian-controlled territory.
Clients who have undergone identification through the Pension Fund of Ukraine are advised to continue receiving payments to their accounts. If the card action was terminated due to expiration, it is necessary to contact any bank branch to obtain a new card. The bank has automatically extended the validity of certain cards until December 31, 2025, but there are criteria for canceling cards that did not meet the requirements.
It has been reported that clients of 'Oschadbank' who are located in occupied territories have lost access to their accounts due to the expiration of their cards. The bank notes that this may have arisen due to difficulties in connecting to the banking system in these areas. Clients are advised to take appropriate measures to obtain new cards and continue servicing their accounts.Read also
