Kellogg revealed how the US wants to achieve a 'comprehensive ceasefire' in Ukraine.

US Special Envoy for Ukraine General Keith Kellogg reported on the active work of the Trump administration on a plan to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. In his interview with Fox News, he unveiled the main details of ongoing diplomatic efforts and upcoming negotiations in London.

According to Kellogg, the American side has held talks in Paris with representatives from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Ukraine. The meeting included the head of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry, the President's Office head Yermak, and Defense Minister Umerov.

'We discussed a possible ceasefire in the near future, and that's why we are returning to London this week to finalize the details,' Kellogg stated.

Kellogg also emphasized the progress made in the first 90 days of the new administration in resolving this war. He noted that President Trump is doing more than in the previous 900 days and is leading the country toward a solution.

Kellogg revealed details of the proposed ceasefire plan, which included many aspects, from sea and air to land and industry. He noted that this plan envisioned a ceasefire for a period of no less than 30 days in order to reach a long-term peace agreement.

Moreover, the American side presented preliminary conditions of the agreement to the Ukrainian authorities. After discussions with the Ukrainians, the US will seek to find common ground with the Russians.

Regarding the prospect of Ukraine's NATO membership, Kellogg was very clear: 'We were very clear. NATO is not negotiable. You will not become part of NATO. This is not news. We have been talking about this since 2008, when Ambassador Burns told Condoleezza Rice that this is a bridge that goes too far. But there are workarounds that can be used.'

Currently, in addition to efforts to cease hostilities, the US and Ukraine are working on a minerals agreement. Kellogg emphasized the importance of this deal for the American economy and noted that it is a very significant point in negotiations.
