Italian insider spoke about Mudrik's fate after doping scandal.

Mudrik may not return to football due to doping scandal
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Mykhailo Mudrik, the winger for 'Chelsea', has little chance of returning to play in the near future due to the doping scandal.
During the 2024/25 season, Mudrik played 15 matches, scored 3 goals, and made 5 assists. The player's value is estimated at 30 million euros.
Mykhailo Mudrik's mother, Inna, supported her son after the failed doping test, writing on her Instagram that people who know Mykhailo will never believe what happened. She also thanked everyone for their support and noted that Mykhailo has worked his whole life to become a footballer, and no one can change that.
On December 17th, Mudrik tested positive for doping, where the banned substance meldonium was found, which could lead to a 4-year ban. The player claims that he has never used doping.
Currently, Mudrik has been temporarily suspended from football after additional tests showed positive results for the banned substance. The player believes that the banned substance entered his body while he was abroad. 'Chelsea' is also conducting its investigation, and Mudrik is cooperating with the club. According to FA rules, the player can be temporarily suspended until a final decision is made.
