Hungry marten left tens of thousands of Germans without power.

Marten gnawed wires and left residents of German cities without power
A marten gnawed wires and left residents of the German cities of Ludwigsburg and Kornwestheim without power. This was reported by SWR. On the morning of August 20, tens of thousands of local residents lost power supply.
According to the publication, the incident occurred at a substation in Hoenek. Electricity in the two cities went out around 04:30 (05:30 Kyiv Time). It was only restored at 07:15 (08:15 Kyiv time). During this time, there was no light anywhere: neither in houses nor on the streets. Approximately 100,000 people live in Ludwigsburg and over 30,000 in Kornwestheim.
Earlier, the Paris prosecutor's office found the culprit responsible for damaging the fiber-optic cables that ensure the operation of the Olympic fan zone. As a result of the damage, the broadcast on the large screen was repeatedly interrupted, and the police launched an investigation under several articles, not ruling out that a 'criminal group' might be responsible. After analyzing surveillance camera footage, law enforcement blamed the marten.
