Estonia Wants to Purchase Ukrainian Military Products: What Could Stand in the Way.

Estonia is considering the possibility of purchasing Ukrainian defense products. However, due to the martial law in Ukraine, there is a ban on exports.
The export of weapons and military equipment is simply forbidden. Moreover, we need everything on the front now. Therefore, it's hard to imagine that any stockpile of ammunition would be sent to Estonia or another country instead of the front. It's unreal. It's possible that, with the help of investments from the Estonian government and the involvement of Ukrainian specialists – but already on Estonian territory – this is possible.», said the head of the Ukrainian Center for New Geopolitical Studies Mykhailo Samus.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur noted that the export ban would not be an obstacle if the countries reach a mutual agreement. According to him, such cooperation would be beneficial for both Estonia and Ukraine.
Let us remind you that Germany, together with three other NATO countries, is preparing a large military aid package worth 1.4 billion euros. It is planned to be provided to Ukraine by the end of 2024.
Also, at a joint press conference, Scholz noted that Germany had delivered a new military aid package to Ukraine worth 600 million euros. It includes, among other things, the fifth IRIS-T SLM system, tanks, howitzers, and more.
