Drones and artillery: numerous Russian strikes on Sumy region throughout the day.


Throughout the day, Russian troops carried out 26 shellings of border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Facebook. A total of 61 explosions were recorded during the day.
«A total of 61 explosions were recorded. Sumy, Khotin, Yunakiv, Krasnopillia, Vorozhba, Novoslobidska, Esman, Seredyna-Buda communities were shelled», the report said.
Detailed list of shellings by community
- Seredyna-Buda community: three mines, artillery shellings (eight explosions), FPV drone strike (one explosion).
- Krasnopillia community: FPV drone attacks (four explosions), mortar shellings (six explosions) and grenade launcher shellings (five explosions).
- Novoslobidska community: airstrike by KAB (two explosions).
- Esman community: mortar shellings (four explosions).
- Yunakiv community: airstrikes by KABs (12 explosions), FPV drone strike (one explosion).
- Khotin community: airstrikes by KABs (nine explosions).
- Vorozhba community: artillery shelling (two explosions).
- Sumy community: airstrike by KAB (four explosions).
The situation in the region remains tense, and numerous shellings continue to damage infrastructure and threaten the safety of local residents.
It is worth noting that today an alert was announced in the capital, where loud explosions were heard.
As reported, in the Izmail district of the Odesa region, two people were injured as a result of an attack by Russian drones. There was partial destruction of an administrative building followed by a fire. Employees of the State Emergency Service promptly extinguished the fire.
