Supermarkets have updated prices for apples and bananas.
According to the Minfin portal, the interest in healthy eating is prompting Ukrainians to continue consuming fruits even in winter. Apples remain the most popular and inexpensive fruits at any Time of the year, although their prices are quite high this year. Many also enjoy bananas.
In particular, in February, the cost of these fruits noticeably increased compared to January. Ukrainian apples have risen in price on average from 31.46 to 38.00 UAH per kilogram. Apples of the Aidared variety showed a more moderate increase – from 37.76 to 40.70 UAH per kilogram.
Regarding bananas, their price has increased from 61.64 to 66.65 UAH per kilogram. At the same time, the price range in different retail chains is quite insignificant – from 64.80 to 71.90 UAH per kilogram.
It was previously reported that prices for a popular vegetable have increased by 25%.
