The President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Alexandra Hysych, called on the international community to provide Ukraine with more weapons to stop the horrific bloodshed caused by Russia.
Hysych made this statement in connection with the Russian missile strike on Sumy. She emphasized that the situation with bloodshed in Ukraine will not change until Canada and its allies provide the Ukrainian army with the necessary weapons and air defense systems to protect cities and achieve victory over Russia.
'Negotiations do not stop ballistic missiles and bombs,' said Hysych, referring to the words of President Zelensky.
Instead of appeasement, Canada and its allies must increase sanctions pressure on Russia and recognize it as a state sponsor of terrorism, believes Hysych.
